Calculation methodology
Transparent estimates, dated rules and visible assumptions.
WorkPaisa separates calculator logic from its interface and stores statutory values in reviewed rule modules. Every result remains an estimate because an employer’s payroll policy and a person’s complete tax position can differ.

How assumptions are handled
Calculators ask only for inputs needed for the estimate. Optional values default explicitly, and result panels show the important tax, contribution, date-boundary or employer-policy assumptions used. WorkPaisa does not silently treat CTC, gross salary and in-hand pay as the same amount.
Calculator privacy
Calculations execute in your browser. Salary, offer, deduction and date values are not sent to WorkPaisa analytics. Optional analytics records only typed journey events after consent.
